A Great Profession

I am proud to be a nurse and a nurse advocate. Here are some things I find interesting about nursing:
According to Gallup, America regards nursing as the most honest and ethical profession! You can read about it here:

Unfortunately, the nursing profession has many challenges, especially the well-known staffing shortage that puts patients and hospitals at risk. Meanwhile, on top of this, the "graying" of the baby boomer generation will create an additional demand for nursing care. You can read about it here:

The need to retain quality nurses is clear. I am convinced that hospitals must invest in Nurse's Wellness programs to ensure that their nurses are satisfied, stable, and effective.
