this role?
Not only do I have requisite skills for this new
role including RN credentials and experience, I truly have my heart into
the SMH mission.

Do you have life and work experiences that will
likely provide a performance edge in this role?
Many past mentorship roles
enhance my performance in a variety of environments. Whether coaching
teenagers at Young Cattlemen of Missouri or organizing
volunteers at Boone County 4H, I strive to motivate and direct individuals
to achieve their highest potential.

How does your formal and informal education, along
with any continued learning, serve to increase the likelihood of performance
in this role?
In addition my nursing path at University of Missouri,
a significant amount of undergraduate coursework was devoted human resources
and management.
Thus, I have a solid educational foundation. On the informal side,
I
am an avid reader of non-fiction books related to psychology and the
human condition, in addition to biographies of great historical leaders.
I feel this contributes to the organization in that I can apply a variety
of problem solving approaches dealing with people challenges.

How might your thinking style, personality traits,
such as curiosity, creativity, stress handling, problem-solving or organizing
approaches, increase the probability of performance success in this role?
A
supreme sensitivity to emotions through nonverbal cues allows me to
not only recognize, but anticipate possible interpersonal conflicts.
This, combined with instinctive organizational skills and an ability
to foster enthusiasm in others further increase my effectiveness guiding
workplace relations.

regarding your work and functions, environment or purpose, may provide
enthusiasm and fulfillment in this role?
The stress and worries of coworkers
affect me personally. I am not only passionate, but feel great obligation
toward solving individuals’ troubles
and instinctively want to help. Throughout my employment and volunteer
history, time has imparted the greatest personal satisfaction: serving
those in need.
